The curriculum is set up to navigate towards the fundamentals of reading, writing, math, sign language and science, your child will be introduced to each subject daily. "Mother Goose” curriculum is implemented in a scaffolding manner which will actively give each child the hands-on experience as they gather new information through small and large group time with their teacher. We use Mother Goose Time curriculum to enhance your child’s opportunity for learning while adopting some Montessori techniques that will allow your child to become an active learner in their classroom community. Jerome Bruner theory of teachers modeling desired behaviors while practicing positive child guidance techniques sets the stage for your child to take the initiative while gaining the ability to think and problem solve using old knowledge in a new creative way.
Successful scaffolding strategies are taught throughout our program, each classroom builds upon the next as your child moves up to a new class their cognitive ability to reason and apply old knowledge in new ways will drastically grow. Exploration of daily educational materials will be at your child's disposal. Small group times will be done daily to ensure that each child is gaining the adequate amount of one on one time with their teacher, this allows your child to gain new knowledge geared towards their individual learning needs.
